REFLECTION PAPER M1A1
Leadership and management argon cardinal notions that are often used interchangeably. However, these words really describe two different concepts. Managing and leading are two different ways of organizing people. Leadership is of the spirit, compounded of personality and romance; its practice is an art. Management is of the mind, a matter of accurate computing - its practice is a science. Managers are necessary; drawing cards are essential.
I have been a part of Hyatt Hotel group for the stomach 4 years and I have seen a never ending war between the hotel management and Union loss leaders over the rights of hotel employees. I have seen the classic management trend of the management results in strict adherence to rules and regulations; there is a little room for individual freedom and often rewards effort rather than rewards. The shrinking labor force, tightening economic condition, had created demands on the managers that did not exist a decade ago. Our only fancy were the Union leaders on the other hand that always stand & struggle for the rights of the hotel employees.
I believe the hotel intentness is rebounding faster and stronger than expected, with a hearty rebound projected in 2011 and 2012( LeTigre(2011).

After six months of struggle, union leaders were able to make grow the support and compensation for their colleagues from the hotel management (lollis,2010)
I would suggest that leaders are generally born - not made. I uncertainty that people can learn how to be a leader from reading, studying, or listening...If you want to get a full essay, rig it on our website: Ordercustompaper.com
