In a conflict between cultures there is no right or wrong, better or worse. There is merely lack of sufficient knowledge of what the other culture genuinely consists of. I feel that neither Native Ideas nor Western philosophy is completely the right way to live. Both fall in their faults and neither is authentically working to correct them. After countless hours of research, and legion(predicate) nominates, not to mention the opinions of others constantly pushed down my throat, I see begun to develop my own opinion. One big belief of Hesperian philosophy is that men and women must work for what they want. We have wronged them by ripping them of their traditions and forcing them to look and act like us. Although they have band together to change their arena, most have failed and asked us for help. Our project last nine weeks was to think of a plan of action, simply every time we reached out; we were shot down. Is this because we as a western culture, a stereotyped society, have tested to push out the weakness we see in our world instead of make it stronger. We turn away from our wrong conduct; because we hate to face the fact that we might have genuinely made a mistake.

I have read many novels on their beliefs, and really am awed by the connection they have with their animals, and their mountain. I believe however there is a difference between respect and understanding.
