How far was the Paris Peace settlement the reason for the strong-growing nature of the German and Italian unusual constitution in the 1930s?


In the 1930s, German and Italian foreign policy was very offensive. The Paris Peace settlement had left both Germany and Italy unhappy and wanting to change the settlement. However, German and Italian foreign policy was also the result of new fascist dictatorships that take those countries.
All the assumptions of the early 1920s about peaceful democracies rejecting state of war were shown to be wrong with the rise of Hitler and Mussolini. These new dictatorships had ideologies that purposed belligerence as deliberate policy. Economic difficulties after 1929 also make Germany and Italy look to aggressive military solutions to their problems. In 1915, Italy switched sides hoping to gain land from Austria-Hungary. Italy felt cheated and scummy due to the Peace settlements and Mussolini, in 1922, was willing to use aggressive policies to restore power in Italy. Overall, both Italy and Germany were willing to use aggression to restore power and change the settlements.
