Workforce diversity is the mix of gender, race and ethnicity, age, and able-bodiedness in the workforce.(Schermerhorn, Hunt, & Osborn, 2008, Chapter 2: Values, Personality, and Individual Differences. In many ways team dynamics relate to the interdependent and interpersonal progression of work. These ways allow the order of how a when things get accomplished through individuals, and how members of the team relate to each other and their task (Team kinetics, 2009) Dynamics involve processes of communication, decision-making, leadership and sharing of power, and include the education of norms and expectations(Information on Team Dynamics). The performance of the team is directly link up to the interaction between individuals within the team. This is where workplace diversity relates to team dynamics.
