Initially, the evil/good was brought up in the play when the witches stated, fair is foul and foul is fair.At first it was difficult to be able to relate this rehearsal to Macbeth provided as the play progressed towards the quote had a germane(predicate) meaning. Macbeth listening to others it was wrong but acting upon it was even worse. He took wrong actions to achieve his goals. Shakespeare wanted to get this message out to the audience, and Macbeth is a leading workout of the fight between good and evil in ones self. Macbeth had a good side to him; he was a warrior, a fighter and a friend, but then he turned evil due to acting upon the prophecy. Macbeths greed of adequate king caused him to kill Duncan.
