Obituary On Brian Williams For Journalism

Brian Williams, a prominent NBC television news anchor died Monday in a giant elevator accident at the Hyatt Regency hotel in downtown Rochester, N.Y. after a visit to the University of Rochester campus. He was 51.

Mr. Williams was brought to the robust Auditorium by the University of Rochester for a speaking engagement in which he was to speak about journalism and what it entails. At the date of the freak elevator accident, Williams had just returned to the Hyatt Regency hotel from the universitys campus. There have been reports from the Hyatt Regency hotel that on that point may have been a problem with an electrical cable running throughout the elevators shaft that possibly snapped.

The Rochester Police incision is conducting an investigation. Currently, they are convinced that foul play is not the courting and that there was a defect in the electrical cables.
