So there I was, standing in the tail concealed by the after effects of the distant twilight. The calamitous mist overpowering my sense of vision, demanding for its focus uniform a camera on an emulsified day. For once in my life I was afraid. Afraid of what has become and afraid of what could happen. All of a sudden an all too familiar click vibrated through my hand. A burst of light shimmered in front of me blinding me for what seemed like unending minutes. Dazed from this petite dilemma, I soon completed what had just transpired. It was me, I was the cause of this abrupt light. I had a flashlight, gripped tightly around my defying hands. The darkness in front of me easily dispersed, my sight was beginning to become clear and to my dismay, I soon realized where I was. I started to see long, thick structures at sea all around me, shrouded with arm-like parts swallowed by the nightfall. There was no doubt that I was indeed, in the middle of the forest. The overwhelming principal of the beanstalk-like trees mixed with the murk dominated me, giving me a fond sense of claustrophobia.

Not knowing what was in store for me, I took a step forward towards the trees. Even with the flashlight in my hand, the ever-so growing night seemed to just absorb the only issue that was keeping me sane.
