Andy Warhol

Andy Warhol was born in the town of Pittsburgh in1928, to the Czechoslovakian immigrants,
Andrew Warhol Sr. and Julia Warhol. He had three older siblings, but one had died in their
motherland of Czechoslovkia, while the two others, Paul and John. Andys st artistic creation out immigrated to
the unite States in 1914, while his mother did not come until 1921. His father worked in a coal
mine most of his life. The Warhols resided in a house at 55 Beelen Street and thence at 3252
Dawson Street in a neighborhood named Oakland. By third grade Andy had the disease, chorea,
a disease that attacks the nervous formation and causes involuntary movements of the legs and
arms. After this Warhol became a hypnochondriac, this is a fear of doctors and hospitals. very much
forced to stay in bed as a child, Warhol became an outcast at the public school and really altogether
bonded with his mother. Warhols father died in an accident when he was only thirteen. Warhol

diagnosed by a doctor. The dyslexia was said to be a major contributor to broadening Warhols
imagination in the arts. After Warhol gradational from High School he planned to study art at the
University of Pittsburgh with hopes to eventually become an art teacher.



But he never went
there, instead he enrolled in the Carnegie Institute of Technology. in that location he pursued a career as a
commercial illustrator. In the year 1949, Andy got his Bachelor degree of delightful Arts in Graphic Design. Warhols art career excelled so greatly that in 1968 Valerie Solanas shot Warhol and an art critic Mario Amava at Warhols studio. Solanas was angry at Warhol for misplacing a script that she had written for a show. Mario only had minor injuries and was released from the hospital the same day. But Warhol had gotten earnest wounds from the attack and barely stayed alive. Solanas was arrested the next day.
